United Methodists Women.

GLORY circle has been around for the longest. Prior to the circle being called GLORY, it was THE United Methodist Women. The members that were part of the group were members from Yorkville Methodist Church and Bristol Methodist Church; some have been a part of this group for well over 40 years. The GLORY circle supports Wayside Cross – Life Spring Program, which supports homeless women and children, Operation Shoebox and UMCOR kits. Glory circle also makes candy and tray favors for Hillside Nursing Home. GLORY circle meets the 1st Wednesday of the month at 1pm at the church.

FAITH circle is a friendship group of women who support each other in prayer& time of need, and who support missions in which women & children are in need. Faith meets the 1st Monday of the month at 6:30 PM, Church Library.

HOPE circle organizes amazing bake sales held in the church on special occasions. These sales have benefited a variety of our church missions, including raising money to help purchase a therapy dog for a young member of the congregation. HOPE also helps with UMCOR relief drive, and the Angel Tree. HOPE circle has contacted Kendall County Food Pantry and offered to help as needed. The circle started at the same time that FAITH circle in hope we would create an opportunity to actively involve more women of Trinity in this worldwide group of mission-minded members. HOPE circle meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 11am; alternating meeting at the church and enjoying lunch out.

UNITY circle is the newest addition to United Methodist Women and was formed back in September of 2009. UNITY was first created to get young mothers to come together as support for one another, and to strengthen their spiritual walk with the Lord. UNITY is constantly evolving to meet the needs of its members. UNITY also helps organize and run a variety of mission fund raising activities. UNITY is organizing “Wisdom Dinners” for the third Monday of the month at 6:00 pm.
